Function Styles

We cater for all types of functions. We will customise a dining event for you from 6 guests up to 85 guests, casual or formal. We specialise in events with guests paying separately for food and/or drinks.
We will create a menu to work to your budget.
We love cocktail events and have a number of room options for varying numbers.
Corporate breakfasts and meeting dinners are ideally suited to our private dining spaces.

Dining Functions

We run dining events for any number up to a maximum of 80 guests.

Cocktail Functions

Cocktail events for 30-160 guests with a number of room options.

Larger Groups

(For groups paying separately).
We specialise in larger groups paying separately.

Breakfast functions

We offer breakfasts for pre-booked events of 15 or more guests.

Function Spaces

With small and larger private dining rooms, undercover all weather beer garden, exclusive private bars, we have a number of flexible room options.

Bartons Restaurant

Overlooking the parklands the dining room is suitable for dining functions up to 75 guests.

Private Dining Room

Our smallest private dining room holds up to 18 guests.
Perfect for special occasions and small corporate dinner meetings.

Bar 219

Overlooking the corner of O'Connell Street and Barton Terrace it utilises our biggest bar. With open fire place and timber floor, ideal for cocktail and dining events.

Beer Garden

Undercover with airconditioning and heating and an adjacent open air courtyard. Ideal for cocktail functions of up to 180 guests.

Boardroom

Perfect for up to 20 guests on one table or up to 30 guests on three tables.

Function Types

From birthdays of all ages, engagement parties, christenings, social clubs, weddings, we will tailor a package of food and drink options specifically for you.

Birthdays

From 1st birthdays to 100th birthdays, we will make your event special. Our function managers and dedicated staff will work to make your event extra special.

dinner meetings

From 6 to 60 guests, book a private room for your meeting and meal. Breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Easy convenient parking and access, close to the CBD.

christenings

Whether a casual cocktail style event or sit down meal we will customise your options. Free cakeage for most events.

A number of rooms work perfectly for an afternoon or evening engagement party. Ask about our Saturday afternoon cocktail food special for a value for money event.

Subsidised tab

For cocktail events

This is where you have your guests contribute an amount to each drink purchased. This is customised to your drink selection and can have multiple subsidy amounts. Ask our function coordinator for more information or detailed explanation.

Standby plattters

For cocktail events

Some of our platters can be cooked to order at the time of your event.
So we will attempt to only confirm the minimum amount of food you need and then will cook additional food to order at your request during the event. This minimised the risk of over catering.
